On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King delivered one of the most famous speeches in American History, “I’ve Got A Dream†via YouTube.
On the 50th anniversary of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream†speech, thousands of people descended on Wednesday on the Lincoln Memorial, where President Obama, joined by former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, was scheduled to deliver an address at 1 p.m. As my colleague Michiko Kakutani wrote, the speech is a “testament to the transformative powers of one man and the magic of his words.â€
