Video and Tweets on Maryland Shopping Mall Shooting

As my colleague, Emma G. Fitzsimmons reports, the police say three people died in a shooting at a shopping mall in Columbia, Md.

The Howard County Police Department used Twitter and Facebook to post regular updates about the shooting within 45 minutes after the first gunshots were reported fired at 11:15 a.m.

Call came into 911 around 11:15 a.m. that shots were fired. Police made entry and found three dead, one found near a gun and ammunition.

Two victims with minor injuries that were NOT directly related to the shooting were transported to HCGH. No other injuries reported.
