Chad Batka for The New York Times Tashaki Miyaki performed at the Mercury Lounge on Tuesday night.Jon Pareles and Jon Caramanica, pop music critics for The Times, are reporting from the 33rd annual CMJ Music Marathon in New York this week. In addition to watching, reviewing and tweeting performances from many of the more than 1,300 bands playing at this year's festival, the critics will also be sharing daily Spotify playlists featuring tracks from some of the notable acts they saw the previous night.
