This week in The New York Times Book Review, Hanna Rosin reviews âSex and God at Yale,â in which Nathan Harden details the debauchery hiding in plain sight in the Ivy League. Ms. Rosin writes that his account is revealing, but:
â¦not revealing enough to make one feel that an obsession with sex has turned Yale into a âgreat institution in decline - an institution of tremendous power and influence that is no longer aware of why it exists or for what purpose,â as Harden claims.
On this week's podcast, Mr. Harden discusses the book; Julie Bosman has notes from the field; Pamela Paul guides us through this week's special back-to-school issue; and Parul Sehgal has best-seller news. Sam Tanenhaus is the host.
