Keep your earlobes â€" and maybe a couple of tissues â€" within reach for a sentimental reunion of the stars of “The Carol Burnett Show†that SiriusXM radio is planning for next week. The satellite broadcaster said on Thursday that it would host a town hall event with Ms. Burnett, the five-time Emmy Award-winner, with Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway, her co-stars from that long-running CBS variety series. (Not coincidentally, the event is timed to a new TimeLife DVD release for the show, including a 22-disc boxed set.) The town hall, which will incorporate questions from an audience of SiriusXM listeners, will be hosted by Amy Schumer, the standup comic, Comedy Central roast-ess and author of numerous jokes that would surely turn the head of genteel Starlet O'Hara.
SiriusXM said its town hall with Ms. Burnett would make its debut on its Raw Dog Comedy channel on Sept. 27 at 6 p.m., and be repeated several times on Sept. 28 through 30.
