Norbert Leo Butz Will Join Katie Holmes in \'Dead Accounts\'

By SCOTT HELLER

Norbert Leo Butz will play the ne'er-do-well brother of Katie Holmes whose return to their childhood Ohio home sets off the action in Theresa Rebeck's “Dead Accounts,” representatives for the play announced on Wednesday. “Dead Accounts” will begin previews at the Music Box Theater on Nov. 3, with a scheduled Broadway opening on Nov. 28.

A two-time Tony winner for starring roles in the musicals “Catch Me If You Can” and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” Mr. Butz has also earned stellar reviews in such plays as “Speed-the-Plow” and the recent revival of “How I Learned To Drive” at Second Stage.

Jack O'Brien, who directed Mr. Butz in both his award-winning musical roles, will direct “Dead Accounts,” which had its premiere in Cincinnati this winter.
