Paul Taylor Dance Company Announces Spring Season

The Paul Taylor Dance Company will be among the many arts groups celebrating the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky's “Rite of Spring” in the coming year. The troupe will revive Mr. Taylor's “Le Sacre Du Printemps (The Rehearsal)” as part of its spring season, which will run March 5-24 at Lincoln Center, the company announced.

The engagement will also include the New York premiere of “Make Crops Grow” to music by Ferde Grofé and the world premiere of Mr. Taylor's 138th dance. The lineup also marks the 50th anniversary of “Scudorama,”and the 25th anniversaries of “Brandenburgs” and “Speaking in Tongues.” A celebration of the two 25th anniversary pieces will take place on March 6, w hen every seat in David H. Koch Theater will cost just $5. The season will feature 21 dances. More information is available on the Paul Taylor Web site.
